This painting has evolved in many ways through the two(ish) years I spent working on it. It was once very polite. Since, she has become loud and bright and honestly she feeling herself.

It's a Void and we're all in it. There's a lot of weird stuff down here. All of the lights are us.

This painting took a decade. Awakening is a long process. Lots of darkness and pressure involved. Then the sudden realizations hit. And they just keep hitting. and you're never the same. It's probably for the better. I'd rather be awake throughout my life than asleep.

We light up the Void, finding color currents to live out our lives in, some souls pass through as they look for the lane which feels best to their existence, some build their homes beside us, and all the while the energy remains in motion, eternal cycle of generation, organization, destruction.
